LISTEN, INSIDE YOURSELF!
The image above is living, breathing proof that we all have the ability to change our bodies and live better lives. It is proof of hard work, belief, and consistency geared towards body transformation.
You can achieve body transformation if you ‘really’ put your emotion, passion & focus into an action plan. Another major workout secret I have learned is attitude, which involves being mentally in the game. Not only does your attitude help to motivate yourself, it will guarantee you lasting results.
Body transformation does not necessarily mean that you have to become the next muscle man or woman, you do not need to hold a trophy or title, however becoming a new and healthier version of yourself is what is important; my current self (pic below)
Helping other people assists in keeping myself fully accountable. How I achieve accountability is through imagining a better version of my body either physically, mentally, and/or emotionally. Keeping that final image alive in my mind motivates me as I continue to pursue my body transformation goals, all the while teaching and learning from others.
Body transformation process is NOT that easy, from personal experience, it has taken almost 6 years to become mentally ready and actually get started, and a year to reach this point and it will take another year or two to actually become leaner, remove the excess jiggle and reach the next milestone. This process may prove longer or shorter depending on one’s level of commitment but with the right attitude and mindset, you will be rewarded with big changes alongside lasting results.
Away with the negative bit, the positives are more and worthy they include gaining strength mentally and physically every day, alongside boosting your self-esteem and confidence levels among many others. Additionally, research has proved that a good posture induced by body transformation suggests confidence which can literally change our feelings, our behavior and even our hormone levels.
Just take a minute and imagine your new look after the transformation with that strong, fit body you have always wanted. Standing tall, walking and doing your dance moves with 100% assurance.
Getting the ball rolling…
The most crucial part in this whole process is adapting one’s mindset. It is important to set realistic goals when beginning a transformation regime. This involves learning to celebrate the minor triumphs, which one day will transform into larger accomplishments.
Also, try developing a motto and learn to stick with it. Besides eating wholesome foods, change your perception of things; for example, if some feeding habits deviate from the whole idea it is high time to do away with them. What I mean here is that you need to fake it until you make it, genuinely feeling strong and powerful until you ultimately get there. The key is to change your complete mental attitude towards eating and exercising that is until the healthy choices, for your body, become a way of life, rather than a constant struggle.
Boosting your motivation is another crucial step in this process. Personally, being alone motivates me the most as the space allows me to think deeply and determines a clear focus on my goals before commencing. It also assists to evaluate the progress already made during the transformation goal setting stages.
Another important part of any transformation (body or other) is trusting in yourself. Personally, I am still learning this element. I have learnt to trust myself fully with most aspects in life but I admit it is a daily challenge to trust myself with food and not give in to old habits. Practicing self-trust, assists in letting go of some bad eating habits and encourages the new vices, which induces positive body changes.
Learning! Do not shy away. Asking questions is one of the factors needed for successful body transformation. It involves accepting new ideas from people around you. Surrounding yourself with people who encourage you to pursue your transformation goal.
Body transformation is a serious business thus learning to cope with time and having patience may prove hard but with set goals and motivation, it does become easier. In addition, I have learned that when evaluating your body transformation, it is a good idea to consider the changes over a month rather than getting disheartened after a discouraging week or a few days. This means that the desired change may take some time to be effective but with motivation it is always possible and anybody can do it.
In conclusion, I can say that body transformation is highly achievable and has positive outcomes for anyone as long as the individual has the right attitude and rolls with the momentum of motivation and focus.
Let us strive to improve our lives physically and mentally. I would love to observe and assist in your journey.
